We offer five types of membership. Each golf membership offers you, the individual, or the company, exceptional benefits for a full calendar year of exceptional golf at an extraordinary golf course. 

You can test your own strengths against tournament professionals: Club Resident Professional, Nelson Gabriel. Players with more modest ambitions simply enjoy their golf at the Royal Port Moresby Golf Club with family, friends, colleagues or clients over a championship golf course designed to provide a fair test of golf at every level.

Full Playing members have the right to a voice and a vote at a General Meeting or Special General Meeting of the Club. All playing members will be governed by the rules laid down by the PNG Golf Association and the Royal and Ancient.


Husband, wife (including defacto relationships) and children between 12 and 18 years of age or children over 18 up to the age of 24 who are attending a recognised tertiary institute full time. Only one nomination fee is payable. Other fees including PNGGA affiliation fees, Liquor Licence fees, locker fees, playing fees etc shall be payable at the appropriate full rate per person. All members of the Family Membership over the age of 18 years will have all the rights of Full Playing Members


Midweek members forfeit the right to play on the course on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. Should they wish to play on these days, they will be subject to rules governing visitors on the course. No midweek members shall have the right to be present or vote at any General Meeting of the Club


Social Spouse membership is only available to a spouse of a Full Playing member. Social Members and Social Spouses do not have playing rights and cannot be present or vote at any General or Special General Meeting of the Club


Junior members of the Club must be under the age of 18 years and shall have no voting rights nor be elected to the Executive Committee but may be co-opted to assist subcommittees


Some fees are refundable: (1) Membership refunds are on a quarterly basis and not refundable for the quarter in which the application is received i.e. a member resigning in April receives no refund if a six month member but six months refund if an annual member. Membership refunds are dependent on receipt of a Letter of Resignation from members or the company requesting the refund when membership fees are paid by a company on behalf of an employee.
